Our competition entry for the new operation HQ and training centre of SCAL was developed in collaboration with AC Consortium. Our design features two wings, one for administration and the other for training, which are linked by bridges over a naturally ventilated atrium. This design creates a sense of unity and collaboration between the two wings while also allowing for flexibility and adaptability.

At the ground floor, the lobby is a natural extension of the public space and designed as a garden pavilion. It serves as a welcoming entrance for visitors and provides a peaceful oasis for employees to relax and recharge. Our aim was to create a space that promotes wellbeing and community within the workplace.

Overall, our design for the new SCAL HQ and training centre prioritizes sustainability, flexibility, and community. The use of natural ventilation and the incorporation of green spaces throughout the building not only creates a healthy and pleasant working environment but also serves as a statement of our commitment to sustainability.
