The proposed overhead bridge helps to reconnect two parts of the city that are currently cut off by a major road. The proposal is conceived as a large sculptural gesture that contains different circulation layers and solves accessibility issues at various levels. Additionally, the overhead bridge represents an ideal city gate. Beyond its functional purpose, this large urban object transforms the landscape and imbues it with new meaning.
The structural necessity of the bridge is interpreted as an opportunity to create a new language that expresses a threshold, a border, and a trespass into a new realm of opportunities. The bridge is not only a solution to a transportation problem but also a symbol of connectivity, innovation, and progress.
